Benjamin J Ramey, DMD
Biography
Originally born in Charlotte, North Carolina Dr. Ramey spent time growing up in Georgia, as well as Connecticut. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Connecticut and upon completion of his degree moved to Boston, MA. In Boston he pursued his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) at the Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine and ultimately graduated with the distinction of magna cum laude. He then moved to New York City to complete a post-graduate General Practice Residency in Dentistry at Bellevue Hospital, one of the oldest and most storied hospitals in the United States. During his time at Bellevue, Dr. Ramey received advanced training in comprehensive dentistry including fillings, crowns, dentures, tooth extractions, root canals, and dental implants.
Dr. Ramey takes pride in staying at the forefront of dentistry and regularly takes continuing education to learn about the latest advancements in the field. Additionally, he is passionate about giving back to the community and has volunteered with Bridge to Health, an organization offering free medical and dental care to rural underserved communities in Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, and Ethiopia.
When not in the office, you can most likely find Dr. Ramey spending time out on the hiking trail, making a nice home-cooked meal, or cheering on the Buckeyes.
